#Emotional Cafe Peacock Alley Cafe, located on the 29th floor of the new hotel Waldorf Astoria Osaka, has a wide open view of Umeki Koen. I am grateful to be seated in the center seat by the window. I heard the explanation of the reduced price while looking at the menu, so I order an additional glass of champagne. For afternoon tea, two champagnes from the Louis Vuitton Hennessy Group are available as additional options at a 20% discount from the regular price. Vintage Moet & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame are optional champagnes for afternoon tea. I choose Moet & Chandon, which is a bit cheaper. For black tea, there are Peacock Original Brand Tea and Smith Tea loose-leaf tea. The coffee is also original brand beans. The friendly server explained everything well, so we started comfortably. The champagne was brought in a magnum and poured for us. When studying champagne, I came across wine knowledge that a 1500ml bottle, which is twice the size of a regular 750ml, is called a magnum. It is said that it is aged in a large bottle to create a softer and deeper flavor. The price is also the same, so a magnum bottle is sold for 1.5 times more than two 750ml bottles, even though the amount is the same. Here, I wondered why three 500s were more expensive than 1.5 liters of cola. The afternoon tea consists of three savory varieties, two scones, and seven sweets. Only the sweets are served on a three-tiered tray, and the three savory varieties are plated on each dish first. A scone plate is also added. The savory sandwiches are presented in four finger food sizes to add depth. The savory ingredients are also filled with plenty of caviar, and are filled with the world's top three delicacies, including foie gras and truffles. The lobster mini burger, which is made with a whole lobster, also shows off its grandeur by covering it with caviar. The four sandwiches made with rare ingredients from all over Japan each have their own perfect narrative and story, making them interesting. The server in charge even tells you the origin of the ingredients, how to eat them, and the order, so you just have to sit back, open your mouth, and enjoy the pleasure of gastronomy. The two scones are also perfect. Homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream are added, making it the number one in Osaka. The clotted cream is additionally added, so you can enjoy it generously and have a fantastic and enjoyable serenade in your mouth. Not satisfied with this, the seven types of sweets each leave a strong impression. From the red velvet cheesecake that you told me is the signature of Waldorf Peacock Alley to the eclairs, canelé-shaped mousse cakes, tarts, opera, mango mousse, and yellow hidden strawberries, the cleanup trio is enjoyable without any trouble. The staff is not visible from the path and is not focused on care, so the drink order is slow and it takes 5 to 10 minutes for the ordered drink to come out, which is probably because it is only the 3rd week of opening.
