Spent two days in Porto and absolutely loved this city. The Dom Luís I Bridge connecting both banks of the Douro River is the crowning jewel of the entire city. The compact size makes it perfect for citywalking, with most places easily accessible on foot. 🌟Must-visit attractions: ◽️Ribeira District – The soul of Porto. Stroll along the riverside past colorful houses that make every photo frame-worthy. ◽️Dom Luís I Bridge🌉 – Linking both riverbanks. Staying in Vila Nova de Gaia, we crossed this bridge daily to reach the old town, enjoying panoramic views – especially magical at sunset. The height might trigger slight acrophobia on first crossing. ◽️Porto Cathedral⛪ – Under renovation during our visit (entry restricted), but its grand observation deck offers spectacular city views👍🏻. The scenic walk downhill to the riverside is equally rewarding. ◽️São Bento Train Station🚞 – One of the world's most beautiful stations, featuring 20,000 blue-and-white azulejo tiles depicting Portugal's historical events and daily life. ◽️Blue Tile Churches⛪ – Several photogenic azulejo-covered churches including Chapel of Souls, Carmo Church, and Santo Ildefonso Church. ◽️Miradouro da Serra do Pilar – Sunset viewpoint🌇 where Porto transforms into pure romance‼️ These golden-hour moments make you believe life should be "wasted" in exactly such places!
