#September2025 This museum, converted from the former residence of John Bosco, founder of the Salesian Order, is a hidden gem in Ronda. The historic house is beautifully preserved, constructed from aged wood and adorned with exquisite paintings. Unfortunately, despite its vast grounds, the house is limited in its open space, with only a few rooms, interior terraces, and gardens open to the public. One can only imagine what the bedrooms and kitchen must have looked like. However, the 3 euro entrance fee is well worth the price. The gardens are breathtaking, the fountains particularly elegant. But the highlight is the small balcony with sweeping views of the famous New Bridge and the Tagus River. Here, you'll experience Ronda's historic charm, free from the hustle and bustle of tourists, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through this intimate 19th-century house by the canyon. At the end of your visit, don't forget to browse the souvenir shop. In the beautiful gardens, you can also enjoy the unique local wine Vino Tinto, olives, and even delicious French bread and Serrano ham.
