Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower

The Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower was built by the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic to honor the martyrs and commemorate the Red Army soldiers who died in the revolutionary war. The construction was decided at the 45th meeting of the Central People's Committee on July 11, 1933. The Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower is a piece of history frozen in blood, an evergreen building, and was built by the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic to commemorate the Red Army soldiers who died in the revolutionary war. It is located at the northeast end of the Provisional Central Government Square in Yeping Township and was completed in January 1934. The Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower was built by the Preparatory Committee of the Second National Soviet Congress, with Liang Botai as the project director and Qian Zhuangfei as the chief designer. The Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower looks like a bullet, symbolizing that power comes from the barrel of a gun. The front of the tower is engraved with the seven characters "Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower" in black, and the tower is embedded with countless small stones, symbolizing the countless Red Army soldiers who gave their lives for the revolutionary ideal. Around the tower are the Red Army Martyrs Memorial Pavilion, the Red Army Review Platform, the Gonglue Pavilion, and the Bosheng Fort, surrounded by pines and cypresses and ancient camphor trees, forming a solemn and solemn landmark building in the Central Soviet Area. The base of the tower is a pentagon, all carved from red stone, with ten inscriptions and tower markers from leaders such as Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, Bo Gu, Xiang Ying, Luo Fu, Wang Jiaxiang, Kai Feng, and Deng Fa. ⏳Duration: The ticket price is CNY 30 per person, and the visit time is 10–30 minutes.
