There's a new hotel in front of Sakai Station called Toyoko Inn.

I've stayed at several hotels near Sakai Station, but they're always full and expensive on weekends. I'm thinking of trying the new Toyoko Inn. The price is reasonable, simple and convenient for one person, and it comes with a simple breakfast. The new hotel is different: bright and comfortable. It's about 100 meters from the station, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so there's plenty to shop and eat. It's about 12 minutes by express train to Namba, three stops away. The local train is one stop away, and there's a large Aeon shop in Shichimichi, which is very convenient.
