Visit the Mon Bridge

The Mon Bridge, also known as Uttamanusorn Bridge, is located in Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province. It is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand, measuring approximately 445 meters (though some sources claim it to be 850 meters). It is also the second longest wooden bridge in the world, following the U Bein Bridge in Myanmar. This bridge was constructed in 1986 by Luang Por Uttama to connect the Thai and Mon communities living on both sides of the Songkalia River.
