Passing by Cheung Sha Wan, I stumbled upon a very affordable, handmade dim sum shop called "Yi Chong Dim Sum." It was always crowded, so I decided to stop by for lunch this afternoon.❗️ The shop boasts a simple, minimalist decor, offering a spacious dining environment.❗️ The waiters are very friendly and helpful, and they're incredibly knowledgeable about the food.❗️ They're able to provide detailed explanations of each dim sum dish.❗️ The dim sum shop offers a variety of Chinese teas, all served in a hot and delicious hot water.😏 🫖Tea prices $4 per person Our group of two enjoyed the following: 1️⃣🌟Signature Dim Sum Set for Two $128 This dim sum dish combines the shop's signature dim sum in one basket. The dim sum selection is extensive, including two nostalgic siomai, two steamed beef siomai, two scallop siomai, two glutinous rice siomai, two bamboo shoot and shrimp dumplings, two XO pickled vegetable dumplings, one black gold lava bun, and one fried barbecued pork bun. Each dim sum item is also a signature dish of the shop, truly living up to its reputation. Each siomai dim sum dish boasts rich and fresh ingredients, and the cauliflower dumplings are complemented by seasonal ingredients. The green sprouts are refreshing, the black gold bao is beautifully presented and boasts a rich, lava-filled custard filling.
