The Bund night…

🇨🇳The Bund, China Beautiful in every light! The Bund is the best landmark spot that anyone visiting Shanghai must not miss. 🫰🏻 Hats off to the layout design of the hottest viewpoint in Shanghai, with a backdrop of uniquely shaped buildings, a river with boats passing by, and water reflecting light beautifully in the morning, evening, and night. 📸 If anyone is still unsure about the best time to visit, I’ve been there at all 4 times. Take your pick! #SaveTheSpotForPhotos #ShareYourFavoriteLight #MorningShot 6-7 AM at The Bund, Nanjing Road In the morning from 6 AM, the sun rises around 6:30 AM. Luckily, my hotel is right on the pedestrian street Nanjing Road, Holiday Inn, so I could just walk there. Nanjing Road, usually packed with people, was surprisingly empty and spacious. Perfect for walking, taking photos, and playing around. Only the shops weren’t open yet, haha. Personally, I love the sunrise the most—the soft light and orange hues in the morning create silhouettes of the buildings that are not too sharp, which is very stylish. #LateMorningShot 7:30 AM at The North Bund (By 8 AM, it starts getting crowded with people queuing for photos, the most popular spot) After shooting at The Bund, I took a Didi to The North Bund. You can cut through a small park-like area that has a popular photo spot with a round sculpture (it actually looks like a room inside, with a door on the other side) and the Pearl Tower in the background. This gives a unique vibe to the photos with a cool overall composition. Then I walked to the riverside to take more photos with the Pearl Tower backdrop. The North Bund angle is a bit tilted but still beautiful overall. #EveningShot Let’s look at the light near sunset at The Bund again. In the evening, it’s very crowded, unlike the morning when most people are still asleep, haha. I recommend walking facing the river, then head almost all the way to the right side where it’s less crowded. There’s enough space to take full-body wide shots. #NightShot The lights turn on around 6 PM and turn off exactly at 10 PM, like clockwork. They even turn off the lights on the European-style buildings, making it very dark if you come late. But at 6 PM, the sun isn’t fully down yet, and the lights start to look really beautiful around 7 PM. When taking photos, I recommend using your phone’s flash a bit to avoid dark faces.
