Longchuan Rock Was Like a Nature Playground with Cool Views

#chinatravel Checked out Longchuan Rock in New Taipei City and honestly it was way more fun than I expected. The hike isn’t super long or hard but it’s got some cool rocks to scramble on and explore which made it feel like a little adventure playground. The trail is mostly dirt and some stairs but nothing too crazy. Along the way you get nice views of the surrounding hills and there are plenty of trees for shade which is always a win. The rock itself looks like a giant ship sticking out of the mountain which is why it’s called Longchuan Rock and standing on it feels kind of epic. You get views of the valley and some nearby towns too. I saw some families and a couple of hikers and everyone seemed to be having a good time. If you want a quick fun hike that mixes chill nature and a bit of scrambling Longchuan Rock is a great pick. Don’t forget water and comfy shoes.
