Thumbs Up for Views at Muzhi Mountain Horseshoe Platform

Went up Muzhi Mountain to check out the horseshoe viewing platform, and it totally lived up to the hype. The hike itself is pretty chill—not too long or steep, just enough to feel like you’re moving. Super easy to reach from the city too, which is always a win. Once you get to the top, that platform is the real star. It’s shaped like a giant horseshoe hanging over the ridge, and the views are next level. You get a wide open shot of Taipei 101, the city skyline, and all the green hills around it. It’s the kind of place you just wanna sit at for a while and do absolutely nothing. It can get a bit crowded, especially near sunset, but the vibe stays relaxed. Everyone’s just there to chill and snap some pics. If you’re looking for an easy hike with a major view payoff, this spot in Taipei City is definitely worth checking out.
