A Must-Visit in Miyazaki! Takachiho Gorge Will Make You Say "Wow"!

Honestly, standing on the bridge at Takachiho Gorge and looking down, you can't help but exclaim "Wow"! The deep blue water of the gorge paired with the waterfall is stunning. If you're lucky with the weather, you might even see a rainbow arching through the waterfall, making it look like a painting. I booked a boat ride on the official website two weeks in advance. While waiting, I laughed at others getting stuck on the rocks, only to find myself spinning in circles when it was my turn. In the end, another boat had to give me a push to get me back on track—both hilarious and embarrassing! There's a flowing somen (noodle) experience at the entrance, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to try it. I did grab some dango (sweet dumplings), which were delicious! This place is definitely a must-visit spot on any Kyushu itinerary. The breathtaking natural beauty here is truly awe-inspiring!
