Takachiho Train Tour

This time I took my family on this trip, and I'd like to share my experiences and precautions. 1. Check the train schedule and buy tickets in advance. Tickets cost 2,000 yen per adult when we went on September 2025. 2. There are two carriages, and the best seats are at the front and rear of each carriage. This allows for less contortion when taking photos. The seats are two rows facing each other, so there's not much space. 3. There's a simple magical stage light show as you pass through the cave. 4. At the bottom, the train stops on a bridge, where the conductor sprays bubbles for everyone to take photos. Please adjust your seat and avoid other people's heads in the photo. 5. It was sunny that day, so there was no rain, but we did see a sign prohibiting umbrellas on the train, so please check. 6. The train runs in both directions, and there are conductors at both the front and rear. Besides driving, they also act as bubble makers and allow guests to take photos. 7. The train runs from start to finish, approximately 30-40 minutes. 8. Because attractions have time limits, it's recommended to plan your itinerary for the train at the beginning. Later, it's easier to plan your itinerary for attractions with open hours.
