The temple's highlight is Kaminarimon Gate (or "Thunder Gate," the main entrance with a large red shojin lantern hanging from it. Behind Kaminarimon Gate is Nakamise-dori, a shopping street that leads to Hozomon Gate, lined with shops selling souvenirs, snacks, and food.
