𓄀 Recharge your tummy with a Wagyu feast! Luigi Electric Power Company

𓇿 𓇿 𓇿 Luigi, a popular BBQ restaurant from Taipei, boasts a unique and playful name that's instantly memorable. Voted number one in Taipei's Top Ten BBQ Restaurants in 2022, its first overseas location opened in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, in February of this year. They specialize in freshly-cut premium Japanese A5 Wagyu beef, eschewing ostentatious presentation to offer genuine, delicious flavor. As a beef lover, I gravitated toward the restaurant and ordered the most generous set menu, the "Wagyu Flame Wagyu Sashimi" ($998/pp). 𓂁 Premium Japanese A5 Wagyu Sashimi The incredibly fresh Wagyu sashimi has a texture similar to sashimi, yet is fresh without the beefy tang. 𓂁 Signature Rare Beef with Parmesan Cheese The raw beef tartar, paired with Parmesan cheese and caviar, is a particularly flavorful appetizer. 𓂁Premium Japanese A5 Wagyu Sirloin 𓂁Premium Japanese A5 Wagyu Chateaubriand 𓂁Thick-cut American Beef Tongue 𓂁Premium Japanese A5 Wagyu Tsukimi Gold Brick 𓂁Premium Japanese A5 Wagyu Short Ribs 𓂁American Marinated Tonkatsu (Fried Tonkatsu) The main courses are here! The Wagyu sirloin is incredibly tender; the Chateaubriand, the thickest part of the fillet, is tender and rich; the tongue is crispy and chewy; the short ribs are juicy; the Tonkatsu (Fried Tonkatsu) is rich in flavor; and the Wagyu Gold Brick paired with Tsukimi complements the rich, fragrant beef even more smoothly. Each of these six cuts offers a unique flavor, leaving even the beef lover completely satisfied! 𓂁French Cream Oysters 𓂁Japanese Sashimi Scallop with Sea Urchin In addition to the Wagyu, there's also seafood. The cream oysters are incredibly creamy, and the scallop with sea urchin is a superb umami combination. 𓂁Wild Mushroom Combo 𓂁Japanese Yam and Pork Melon 𓂁Wagyu Beef with Rice The set meal also comes with vegetables and rice, making it a perfect complement to the entire Wagyu feast! Seriously, beef lovers, this is a must-try! The beef here is tender and flavorful, with a less greasy feel than other places. Plus, many of the seasonings are carefully crafted in-house, including the pickled garlic.
