| An ink painting of autumn and winter. Donggou Reservoir is located 20 km south of Xi'an. 🍁 The dam is the best viewing platform, with a wide view, distant mountains, nearby water, and golden trees. It's like a quiet autumn ink painting. The day we went, the visibility was poor, which affected the view. I imagine that when the sun is shining, the view is more transparent and the colors are more gorgeous. ~ 🔸Route: Subway Line 2: Get off at Hangtiancheng Station, walk to Fanjia Shizi, take Bus 735: Get off at Hongfu Zhuangyuan Station, walk south to Xujiagou Reservoir, Yinggou (Liwei Village) Station, walk to Donggou Reservoir. The route is long and you need to cross a small hill to get there. (Note: You must take the Bus 735 that goes to the terminal station, which is the Kuyv Parking Lot. The bus departs every 40 minutes. Chang'an District buses have a flat fare of CNY 2. They support QR code, Chang'an Tong, and NFC payments, but do not support senior cards.) 🔸Self-driving: Baomao Expressway: Exit at Taiyigong Toll Station, drive 14 km east along Provincial Highway 107. 🔸Outer Ring Expressway: Exit at Wangmang Toll Station, drive south along Yanyin Road to the Huanshan Road intersection, drive east for about 3.5 km.
