Night view of the artificial lake Gokgangji

#December Travel Grant Gokgangji is an artificial lake built during the Tang Dynasty. It's said that successful candidates in the state examinations would write their names on the Daan Pagoda and then come here to attend a banquet hosted by the emperor. Rounding the expansive lake are restaurants and cafes, and the park displays sculptures. The brightly lit area makes it a great place for a nighttime stroll or exercise. After circling the lake, lined with weeping willows, I realized it was larger than I'd expected.
