The Kigensugi Cedars can be seen from the train window in Yakushima

Jomon Cedar, said to be about 2700 to 7200 years old, is a famous spot on Yakushima that you should definitely visit at least once! But even the trekking course from the trailhead takes about 5 hours one way😂 It's not easy to get there because it's far away, so it's an attractive hidden spot, but the hurdle to get there is high😹 So I recommend Kigensugi! ! The tree is about 3000 years old, and the reason I recommend it is that you can see it from the car window🌲 There's a wooden deck where you can walk around Kigensugi, so you can feel it up close〜😆 It's about an hour's drive from the port town of Ambo, but there are some narrow roads along the way, so drive safely! #trip2022
