Everyone says "Guilin's landscape is the best under heaven." After touring Yangshuo's Ten-Mile Gallery with the kids, we headed to Guilin, and the surprises did not disappoint! 🏡 What’s it like to stay inside a landscape painting? The kids said, "It’s as comfortable as home." ✨ The lobby on the first floor has a ball pit to free up your hands; ✨ There’s also an atmospheric café where adults can sneak in some rest. ✨ The rooftop terrace offers an excellent view, with the Li River landscape unfolding like a painting—worth it! - 🚶 Two days and one night to easily explore Guilin: DAY 1: Arrive and check in ➡️ Guihai Qinglan (20-minute drive): Huge lawn and art installations, kids ran and played happily, great for photos! Dinner: There are specialty private dishes near the hotel! DAY 2: ✅ Elephant Trunk Hill (10-minute drive): A landmark from textbooks that you must check out! Take the kids to find the "elephant’s" trunk. ✅ Sun and Moon Twin Towers: Scenic by day, reportedly even more beautiful at night (we didn’t have time to wait). ✅ Pedestrian Street: Stroll, eat, and buy some souvenirs. ➡️ Check out and head to the next stop! 📍 Mingjiang Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Elephant Trunk Hill Branch) 1. The hotel location is very convenient! 20 minutes to Guihai Qinglan, less than 10 minutes to Elephant Trunk Hill and other city attractions. 2. Plenty of specialty food within walking distance, no worries about finding meals. 3. The front desk staff was very patient and gave practical tips at check-in! 4. Self-service laundry room available, a must-have for families with kids! - This newly opened riverside family hotel has new facilities and thoughtful details.
