Yangshuo Adventure: Karst Mountains & River Trails!

Day 1: Arrival & Yangshuo Town Vibe • Morning: Fly into Guilin Liangjiang Airport (KWL). Take the 1-hour shuttle bus to Yangshuo. Check into your accommodation. • Afternoon: Pick up a rental bike (¥30) and cycle along the scenic countryside trails around the Yulong River. Enjoy the iconic views of the karst peaks. • Late Afternoon: Head to the river for a tranquil paddleboarding session on the glassy water. • Evening: Explore bustling West Street. For dinner, find a family-run stall and treat yourself to the local must-try dish: beer fish. Day 2: Iconic Views & Tranquil Xingping • Morning (Pre-Dawn): Take an early taxi to Xianggong Hill. Climb the short path to the viewing platform to capture the iconic misty sunrise photo of the Li River winding through the peaks (great for the Cover Photo!). • Mid-day: Travel to Xingping Village. Check into a riverside guesthouse for the night (¥200–400). • Afternoon: Take a gentle bamboo raft ride down the Li River near Xingping, famous for the view on the back of the 20 Yuan note. • Evening: Enjoy a quiet dinner in Xingping and appreciate the tranquil riverside views. Day 3: Terraced Fields & Departure • Morning: Take an excursion north to Longsheng (approximately 2.5–3 hours drive) to visit the stunning terraced rice fields (perfect for the Environment Photo).
