Hongcun is not worth the ticket price

The biggest disappointment of this trip was Hongcun. The scenery inside the village felt ordinary, lacking the artistic conception of the "painted village" as rumored. Instead, after walking around, the fields, paths, and distant mountains outside the village were even more charming. As for the sunrise at Lucun, at 5:30 a.m., I dragged myself out of the warm bed and set off, struggling with many inconveniences. After passing through the darkest part before dawn and focusing intently, I waited, but the morning fog did not show up that day. Only the morning light spreading quietly on the horizon softly illuminated the layered rooftops. I believe everything has its own timing; the absent mist and the quietly shining morning light are both a kind of "encounter." The light and shadow meant just for me will quietly arrive at some moment in the future. Looking back on this journey, every place I visited was blessed with sunny days, which can be considered a trip favored by fate.
