Tianmen. My personal experience and impressions🌄

Having arrived in China for two weeks and already visited Xi'an with its Terracotta Army and the Avatar Mountains, we finally arrived at "Hole Mountain" (as we called it among ourselves, trying to remember the name). We were lucky once again... during our visit in mid-November, a third of the cable car leading to the very top was closed. Instead, small shuttles were launched to cover that portion of the journey. We bought tickets on Trip.com and chose Route A. We didn't regret it... the stairs are very difficult to climb (we preferred to take them down later), and then there are five escalators up... and you're in the "hole" itself. However, in my opinion, there's absolutely nothing to see at this particular location. Then you go up five more escalators and emerge onto observation decks with glass bridges. Incidentally, there are two of them, located in opposite directions from each other. It's best to plan a full day for this trip. You need to buy shoe covers to cross the glass bridges. There's a cafe at the top where you can grab a bite to eat, but it's best to bring a thermos and snacks so you can enjoy a beautiful view. The return journey takes you on a completely different cable car. You'll pass the theater where you saw the performance of "The Fairy Fox" the night before (by the way, I highly recommend it; it's very impressive). Then descend, and at the bottom, to the left of the stairs, there are free light-green shuttles (announced over a loudspeaker) that take you to the cable car boarding point.
