Perfect for a 20°C summer weekend getaway

As someone who doesn’t ski, I come here mainly to escape the heat. Every July and August, I flee the sweltering Beijing heat for Chongli’s cool retreat. It’s ideal for family vacations with kids—a perfect little weekend escape 🛁. Having visited Taiwu several times before, this was my first trip to Fulong Four Seasons Town. The lakeside European-style architecture is even more charming than Europe itself 😅. This place feels more kid-friendly, and dining options are more convenient than in Taiwu—plus, the food is amazing!! All three meals were delicious 👉🏻 Xiaomaisui Steamed Dumplings, Dawei Roast Whole Lamb, and Dunxiangju (see pic 15). 🏎 Go-karting, 🌈 rainbow slide, grass sliding, 🏰 inflatable castle, trampoline, 🏌 golf, off-road UTV, mountain downhill biking, 🚴‍♀️ pump track 🎠 Polar Bear Kids’ Playground 🚡 Take the cable car up the mountain for the Sky Mirror Swing 🩵🤍 and a panoramic view of the town. Booked a night at the Windchime Valley Revitalization Hotel 🏨, located right in the town. The lake-view room was stunning, and in the evening, you can enjoy the musical fountain light show 🎶 from the balcony. Breakfast by the lake offers a Chinese-Western buffet with outdoor seating—so relaxing ☕🥓🥪. 💭 Bring long pants and a thick jacket—mornings and evenings are chilly. Expect frequent rain showers 🌧, but they pass quickly. Summer biking 🚴‍♀️ and winter skiing 🎿—cool breezes in summer, snow in winter! Love it 🫶🏻. The clouds over Chongli 🌥 are endlessly mesmerizing.
