Milan is an exciting but expensive city (especially compared to other Italian cities). I stayed here for just 2 days, but I managed to walk around almost the entire city… and spend nearly all my money 😅 My three-star hotel near the central train station cost a little over €100 per night! 📍Places I managed to visit: 1. Duomo di Milano – it’s better to buy your ticket online. I recommend taking the stairs instead of the elevator — there are usually no queues. 2. Pinacoteca di Brera 3. Public transportation: After taking the Frecciarossa high-speed train to a city, you can walk or take a local bus to get around. It's very convenient. 🏠【Accommodation】 We stayed in both homestays and hotels. If you have a large group, you can stay in a homestay, where you can cook and save money. If there are two of you, a hotel is a better choice. 📍【Tips】 1️⃣ You can pay by card almost everywhere, but it's a good idea to have some cash on hand. 2️⃣ Use a translator to communicate, as many people don't speak English. 3️⃣ Bring some snacks, instant noodles, and chili powder.
