The centerpiece is a giant tree made of bamboo sieves, which looks stunning under colorful lights. Stepping into the Malaysia Pavilion feels like traveling to the country itself. The food stall models are incredibly lifelike, exuding a strong Southeast Asian vibe and fully displaying Malaysia's vibrant and diverse cultural heritage. In addition to showcasing local delicacies and traditional features, the pavilion also highlights Malaysia's technological innovations, including an AI robot! Visitors can even try on traditional Malaysian attire. A full tour of the pavilion takes at least 30 minutes.

✓TECH WORLD Pavilion Tech World, abbreviated as TW, primarily showcases the core applications of IC technology. However, to make it less rigid, the presentation incorporates sound and light effects. Personally, I found it decent but not particularly moving. Compared to the Sky Lantern Pavilion in 2010, that was more impressive. The Tech World Pavilion highlights Taiwan's unique ecology through a "Life Theater" and demonstrates Taiwan's technological prowess using AI and other advanced technologies. Upon entry, each visitor receives a wristband that records data during the visit and recommends a suitable type of travel experience in Taiwan. Mine suggested a "Craftsmanship Tour." At the end of the visit, there’s a small gift. Today’s giveaway was a canvas bag, which was quite nice.

✓ Indonesia Pavilion The atmosphere created by the staff at the Indonesia Pavilion is unmatched. The welcoming hostess at the entrance is like a concert MC, expertly energizing the crowd. The waiting area is adorned with traditional Balinese handcrafted masks. At first, it might not seem like much, but as the hostess stirs up excitement, the opening of the doors reveals a tropical rainforest scene that delivers a strong visual impact—truly awe-inspiring, even if some of the animals look a bit artificial. Inside the pavilion, there are intricate mosaic patterns reminiscent of a kaleidoscope, showcasing the vibrant Austronesian culture. There’s also a video introducing the local indigenous culture, making it a worthwhile visit.

The exterior is made of wooden fences, and the pavilion presents the unique ecosystem of Ireland. It is humid and rainy. Could it be that even the moss and ferns were brought from Ireland? There is a beautiful Irish harp in the pavilion, which is played by a special person from time to time and is open to visitors. Some antiques of the indigenous people of Ireland are also displayed on site, and there is a circular screen playing Irish sightseeing videos. It is a small and beautiful pavilion. No reservation is required for the Irish Pavilion, and you have to queue up on site to enter.

Came here for my birthday, it's really new inside! The view from the room and the restaurant is really unique! Maybe because it just opened, the non-alcoholic drinks in the minibar are free, and welcome fruit is also given (which is already very good in Japan). The dinner is quite satisfactory, except that you can see the night view of Osaka Castle, there is nothing special to recommend. But the breakfast is really rich and delicious. You can eat as much as you want, nuts, oatmeal, quinoa, and avocado, which are usually very expensive in Japan. I strongly recommend that you must add breakfast! In addition, the body lotion and shampoo provided by the hotel are unanimously agreed by my girlfriend and I to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in - the shampoo will not dry out or not clean after washing, and the body lotion absorbs quickly, is not sticky, and smells good. Kaiyukan is one of Japan’s biggest and best aquariums. We were impressed by the layout of this aquarium - you take the escalators up to the top and then you slowly work your way down in a circular motion around the main central tank, ensuring that you don’t miss anything and that the flow of people is smooth and organized. The crowds were tolerable - lots of people but not in a chaotic way. As you work your way down, you see fish and other aquatic life from different areas of the world from playful otters to curious dolphins to energetic sea lions to laid back penguins and much more. The star of the show is the central tank with the gigantic and majestic whale sharks. One could spend hours admiring them, and some do. Allow at least 2 hours to see the aquarium, though 3 hours will allow more time to sit and admire the animals more, plus explore the gift shop at the end.

One of my favourite markets. You get a variety of food all in one place. I always come for sushi, strawberries and fresh seafood. Though this recent visit, a lot of stalls have changed and it’s more catered to tourists now. You’ll definitely have to walk around before you decide where you want to dine at. A bustling, energy filled market place in Osaka. The spacious market sells a wide variety of street foods, the freshest produce seafoods like king crabs, prawns, lobsters, sea urchins etc and also the mouth watering wagyu beef.

The Umeda Sky Building is one of Osaka’s most iconic landmarks — and for good reason! The design is futuristic and striking, with two towers connected at the top by an open-air observatory. The view from the Floating Garden Observatory is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset when the city lights start to twinkle. You can see all of Osaka from up there! The glass elevators and escalators between the towers give you a thrilling experience, too. There are also cafes and shops below, so it’s easy to spend a couple of hours here. A must-see for anyone exploring Osaka!

This shrine is one of the oldest Shinto shrine in Japan and aare associated with three deities associated with sea travel and protection of sailors, boats and fishermen. The shrine is just a short walk from Sumiyoshi Taisha Station on Nankai line. After the entrance, visitors encountered the iconic vermillion Taiko Bridge and the main halls dedicated to the three dieties. The area are well maintained with landscaped garden with trees, stone lanterns and a pond. The temple also offer its own goshuin andgoshuincho. Entrance to this shrine is free.

Visited Universal Studios Japan yesterday and had an amazing time! However, I would strongly recommend getting the Express Pass — without it, the long waiting times make it really hard to fully enjoy the park in a single day. The highlight was definitely Super Nintendo World — it's an absolute must-visit! The attention to detail, the rides, and the overall experience were truly impressive. We also loved the Jurassic Park ride — super fun and exciting, especially the final drop! The park overall has a great atmosphere, but to make the most of it, the Express Pass is worth every yen. Definitely a memorable experience, but plan ahead to avoid the queues!

We were truly impressed by how stunning the view was in the evening. If you have the time, we highly recommend visiting after sunset—it's absolutely beautiful and even more atmospheric at night. Although many people visit during the day, we couldn’t fit it into our schedule. Instead, we chose to take an evening walk around the castle—and it turned out to be the perfect decision. The illuminated castle within the peaceful surroundings felt almost magical. For us, the evening view was even more enjoyable than a daytime visit.
