The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the Gothic Cathedral, the port, and many other nearby sites. The staff were friendly, they made our stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms was a bit small but very comfortable with great views of the city. The toiletries provided smell incredible. The rooms are minimal but ultra-comfortable. The pool deck was a summer haven, and the cocktails were next-level. Bonus: it’s steps from the Gothic Quarter. This hotel knows how to do summer in the city—hashtag ready.

Looking back on my stay experience last summer... The Edition Barcelona is located in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It opened in 2018 and has approximately 100 rooms. There are many famous attractions around the hotel, including Casa Batlló (about 15 minutes' walk), Park Güell (about 25 minutes' drive) and La Rambla (about 10 minutes' walk). Directly speaking, there are shortcomings and summary: The positives of this hotel are obvious. First of all, the service staff are young and energetic. They have a strong sense of service and a friendly attitude, making people feel at home. Secondly, the hotel's hardware facilities are excellent. The open-air bar and swimming pool have a strong atmosphere and are very photogenic when the sun is shining. Finally, the rooms are relatively modern for Barcelona, ​​stylishly designed and comfortable. However, the hotel also has some disadvantages. The room was a bit cramped, and even with the suite voucher I was only upgraded to an open-plan suite, and the limited space made it feel inadequate. In addition, although the location is convenient, parking is a problem for ride-hailing services such as Uber. Competition in Barcelona is very fierce at the same price, and there are not many other memorable points except the outdoor swimming pool. Overall, my stay experience met my expectations. The rooms are adequate for a European hotel and the service was excellent, but for the same price I would probably consider other options in the future.
