Visit to Tsujihan (つじ半)
A seafood rice bowl restaurant I had been eager to try during my Tokyo trip, **Tsujihan (つじ半)**🐟
As expected, there was a line, but the turnover was quick, so the wait wasn't as long as I thought!
The entrance exuded a clean and traditional Japanese vibe, which heightened my anticipation ✨
I ordered the 'Special Deluxe' seafood rice bowl, which included sea urchin, crab, and salmon roe, and I was blown away from the first bite…!
The combination of fresh seafood, moist rice, and the popping texture of the salmon roe was simply incredible 🤤
Not only was the taste amazing, but the presentation and composition were perfect too… it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
The way of eating was also unique and fun!
You start by eating it as is, and midway through, you pour their special dashi broth over it to enjoy it 'ochazuke' (tea rice) style.
The flavor was so good that I ended up finishing every last drop of the broth 🥣🔥
The staff were extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming, even for solo diners.
The portion size was just right, leaving me perfectly satisfied, and the value for money was excellent.
If you're in Ginza and craving fresh seafood rice bowls, I highly recommend it💯
