It was already evening when we arrived at Batang County. We decided to fill our stomachs before going to the hotel, so we found this place for dinner. It was not yet the peak tourist season, and there were not many tourists on the Sichuan-Tibet line. The owner of this restaurant was standing at the door, boredly browsing his phone. When he saw us coming straight, he immediately smiled and greeted us! There were only two customers in the restaurant, which seemed very deserted. The owner arranged for the four of us to sit in a private room, handed over the menu and introduced his specialties. According to his introduction, we ordered two main dishes, roast chicken with matsutake mushrooms and stir-fried Tibetan pork with green peppers, hoping that the Sichuan cuisine would taste better than the unsatisfactory taste we had tasted in Lulang Town, Nyingchi. We also ordered ants climbing trees and shredded potatoes, plus a vegetable soup, a total of five dishes. The roasted chicken with matsutake mushrooms here is quite good. The chicken is tender and tastes very good. It is a hundred times more delicious than the stone pot matsutake chicken in Lulang Town, but the price is much cheaper. The fried Tibetan pork with green peppers is also good, but the taste of the pork is not quite like Tibetan pork. In addition, the shredded potatoes with vinegar are very refreshing and appetizing.
