I have been to this Ritan restaurant twice. I used to go to the one in Sanlitun. My friend wanted to eat pork elbows, so we went to Ritan together. Environment: It is different from the Sanlitun style. This is a combination of Chinese and German styles. The building is Chinese and the decoration is very German. It seems that part of the original teak was used. Service: Very good and very enthusiastic. I come here mainly to eat roasted pork elbows. It is too oily and fragrant. It must be eaten with sauerkraut. This time I also tried German Coke, one black and one white. It seems that the black one contains sugar and the white one is sugar-free. The taste is the same as normal Coke. I have never seen it in my three visits to Germany. I am really impressed.

Our general impression of this famous German restaurant is that it focuses on drinking and eating meat, especially in the summer and autumn evenings when the seats outside are often full and there are performances inside.

The Schindler gas station has moved from its original location, so the style has changed a bit, but we never thought that such an embassy district and park would be so positive for catering.

A must-eat restaurant, located in the core of the embassy district, on the south side of Ritan Park, it is difficult to keep it going without some skills. Generally speaking, it should be German style. I am more accepting of German food among Western food. I think Germans are more pragmatic. The main dishes are all big pork elbows, big sausages, etc., which are appetizing and fragrant. It's a pity that a big pork elbow is too big, and I am in a diet period, so I didn't dare to try these. I guess it should be good. After thinking about it, I finally ordered the chef salad, which is really good, rich in content and balanced in nutrition. There are vitamins, dietary fiber, protein, and animal protein, and the taste is not inconsistent when mixed together. The best thing is the vinaigrette, which is not like the ordinary one, which is just oil and vinegar. It seems to have added sugar and fried it, similar to the Chinese method. In short, it is very soft, gently enters the salad, and it is very comfortable to eat. In order to increase the feeling of fullness, I ordered potato balls. The taste was okay, but the sauerkraut was not worthy of its name. It was not piled up, but shredded vegetables poured with sour sauce, a cold dish. The reason why it was called sour sauce instead of vinegar was that it didn't feel like vinegar, it was very soft. Maybe it was fruit vinegar? As a German restaurant, it is a pity that they don't brew their own beer. Fortunately, there are some craft beers that cover all major categories, although not rich, which is not bad.
