On the first day after arriving, I simply had dinner at InterContinental Xian Restaurant. The restaurant was doing well, and I could only book a table at 19:30. The fish head was fresh, and the soup was light, with bamboo shoots, green vegetables, red dates and wolfberries, fish balls and small river shrimps. There was a small ribbon-cutting ceremony before the fish head was opened, which was interesting. But the overall price-performance ratio was average.
