Jingjiang hairy crabs, raised in the Yangtze River, are plump and rich in roe, and are at their most delicious around the Mid-Autumn Festival. Locals have been enjoying them since childhood, whether steamed crab, crab roe soup dumplings, or crab meat dumplings...every bite of crab brings back memories. Sun Da Tangbao, located in the Jingjiang Cultural Community, was not at lunchtime when we visited, so we caught them fresh out of the steamer! · [Added Crab Roe Soup Dumplings] The added crab roe soup dumplings are made by simply ripping open a local hairy crab. A straw is inserted to sip out the golden broth, and the crab roe granules burst on your tongue. Afterward, dip the soup in Zhenjiang vinegar. It's so delicious that the neighbors will call the police. · [Crab Roe and Pork Buns] The crab roe and pork buns are a gentler version, 70% crab roe and 30% pork leg. The juices are so perfectly locked in that your mouth curls up with every bite. · [Knife Fish Wontons] The most surprising part is the knife fish wontons. They use only knife fish caught before the Qingming Festival in Jingjiang. The fish is chopped thinner than an eyelash, and the thin skin is pink. The soup is sprinkled with chopped local chives, and it's so delicious that I can drink three bowls without even taking a breath! · All the food in the store can be delivered.
