猫球球球球Although I just visited Xisi Night Market yesterday, I wandered around and came here during the day. Fortunately, I came here, otherwise I would regret it.
How can you not eat "fried dough sticks stuffed with eggs" when you come to Kaifeng? The fried dough sticks are full of eggs🥚, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It tastes like happiness in one bite. Paired with a bowl of spicy soup, it is so addictive!
"Bean Mo" Bean Mo was also ordered, but the taste... Foreigners can only say that it is a bit interesting, but they can't get used to it. I don't know what the locals think...

This shop is located on Dingjiao Street. It sells snacks such as bean curd, spicy soup, fried dough sticks, and egg rings. The five-spice bean curd is made from millet noodles mixed with various seasonings, plus tofu shreds, peanuts, spinach, and vermicelli. Finally, it is topped with sesame sauce. It tastes very good.
The quantity here is really good and the price is reasonable. A big and crispy fried dough stick costs only one yuan. It was the first time I had fried dough sticks stuffed with eggs and egg rings. The fried dough sticks were almost cooked, cut in the middle, and the prepared egg liquid was poured in and fried again. The crispy fried dough sticks were mixed with glutinous eggs, which was a unique flavor.

Kaifeng: P1 Li Ji Spiced Bean Paste, located near our hotel (Hanting). Go early to avoid the queue. The spiced bean paste is alright, worth trying. The spicy soup was a bit too strong for me, but my mom loved the eight-treasure porridge. We also ordered their soy milk the next day, which was also good. P2 Braised Noodles, a quick takeout order, tasted good, but there wasn't enough meat. P3-6 Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, highly recommended! One day isn't enough to see everything. If we didn't have other plans, we would have gone again the next day. My parents had a great time. The Great Song Dynasty Defense Battle and Yue Fei's Spear Challenge to Little Liang Wang are must-sees; go early to secure a good spot. P7-8 Li Xinmin Peanut Cake, very fragrant and delicious, but easily crumbles. I found it a little sweet, but acceptable. My parents loved it and bought a lot to send back as souvenirs. You can just add the owner on WeChat for express delivery. (They also sell Xingshengde peanuts) P9 Xingshengde peanuts: The peanuts are very fragrant, but I don't think it's necessary. The taste is no different from the "drunken peanuts" sold in supermarkets. Laojun Mountain (P10-12): Transportation and Accommodation: We took the high-speed rail from Kaifeng to Longmen Station, then took the bus from Longmen Station to Luanchuan (51 RMB/person, get off at Laojun Mountain Visitor Center). From the Visitor Center, we took a sightseeing bus (5 RMB/person) to the Laojun Mountain ticket gate, and then another sightseeing bus (15 RMB/person) to our booked hotel (near the Yunjing Cableway). I recommend staying inside the scenic area; it will be very convenient for climbing the mountain the next day. Eating at the foot of the mountain: Tujiguan Farmhouse Cuisine with Small Fried Pancakes (restaurant name). This restaurant is near the Yunjing Cableway; it's delicious and inexpensive, highly recommended. Luoyang: P13 Longmen Grottoes: It was really tiring; we had to walk a long way. I was almost exhausted after seeing the Xishan Grottoes. I wouldn't recommend Dongshan Grottoes; the climb was exhausting. Xiangshan Temple is worth visiting, but it's a long hike, and my feet were blistered by the end. I only managed to persevere because I was already there. P14: Old Beijing-style braised chicken. Everyone says Luoyang braised chicken is famous, but the Locomotive Factory was too far for me, so I just randomly picked a place. I ordered braised chicken and braised tofu, which were surprisingly delicious and went perfectly with rice. It cost less than 100 yuan for three people. Highly recommended! P15: Luoyang Makeup and Styling. I found a place there, and overall I was quite satisfied. The service was excellent. The makeup tools weren't disposable; you can bring your own if you mind. I used the shop's. I found my own hairstyle, and it was very accurate. The makeup was also very natural. The shop assistant helped me choose my outfit, and I picked the thickest one since I'm always cold. I bought a package that included photography. The shop assistant even taught me how to use coupons to save money. It included 30 raw photos and 6 retouched photos, which turned out quite well. You can even edit the original photos yourself. (Go to Jiuzhou Pond to take photos around 3 or 4 pm, the photos turn out amazing. I don't recommend taking photos at Yingtianmen Luoyi Ancient City at night, it's super crowded, even though I went during the off-season.)
