I just want to see these things that are ignored. Passing by the Buddhist temple in Jingmai Dazhai, there were loud gongs and drums. I couldn&rsquo;t understand the Dai tune. Xiao Liu🐶 and I followed the sound and walked over. We saw a family busy with bare feet. They were holding up a ceremony. Everyone was shouting slogans. They hung a white flag on a long bamboo pole and propped it up. There was also a mirror hanging on the top. After the ceremony, the women invited everyone to eat with bowls and chopsticks. The men were making &quot;bricks&quot; in the muddy and sandy land. They knocked the bamboo supporting the four corners deeply and buried them in the sand. A big brother who could speak Chinese next to us told us that the old man in the family had passed away and they had to support the old man with a pole. The ceremony would continue tomorrow. The unit of measurement was thousands. Moving sand, money... Surrounding this flag. The sister-in-law of the family smiled and asked us to follow them to eat. ●No tickets, reserve 1-2 hours for sightseeing. If you are lucky, you will encounter a village holding a ceremony on weekends. Everyone will wear ethnic costumes and gather at the entrance of the Buddhist temple. It is very lively.
●There are many restaurants on both sides of the main road where you can eat and stay. Most of the accommodation is the homes of fellow villagers (homestays)
●Convenient transportation by car, and each village is more than 10 kilometers apart

At the end of the year, I went to Jingmai Mountain for the first time. There are several ethnic minority villages hidden in the vast mountains, and Wengji Ancient Village is one of them. I thought a sunny day would be hard to come by, but the next day I realized the secret to the weather here is the frequent alternation of sunny and rainy days, a kind of philosophical balance. From the secluded ancient village of Jingmai Mountain to the coffee farms winding through the hills around Simao, and then on to the city, finding quiet corners in the coffee and tea-producing regions and savoring the unique flavors of each region has gradually become a daily ritual.

Facing the temple, Rikayejiu is built on a hill overlooking the entire village. Its exterior, unlike that of a traditional Dai dwelling, makes it feel like an observer of local culture.

I&#39;ve also tried the Dirty Durian and Tamarind Americano, but neither is as good as the Dirty Avocado. It&#39;s rare to find coffee that leaves you savoring it and missing it so much. If I lived in Pu&#39;er, I&#39;d probably have one every day...

This shop is famous for its specialty coffees. I tried the &quot;Five Autumns&quot; and &quot;Dirty Butter&quot; coffees in one sitting. The former was refreshing, the latter full-bodied, and both were delicious. There&#39;s also a local Pu&#39;er bakery called &quot;Three Days&quot; nearby, whose pistachio and raspberry bread is delicious!
