After many years, I came back to this Tsom Jelly. It was actually more of a memory. A roadside shop on Ecological Road. I walked here with a group of friends after watching the sunset at Yaowang Mountain. Unfortunately, we are all gone now. There are still many people queuing, mixed with tourists and locals. But the taste is not as good as before. The jelly is so-so, the fries are not crispy enough, but the yogurt popsicles are good.

It was really worth the trip. I arrived at the store at 9:30 in the morning, but it was not open. I forgot that there is a three-hour time difference between Lhasa and the mainland, so I rushed there again at 3:00 in the afternoon. This time it was open. I ordered yogurt popsicles, which were super delicious, one yogurt with a little too much sugar, one fried potato, which was super delicious, highly recommended, one wide white rice noodle, which was also good, a small portion, but it was enough to fill me up, and a jelly cake, which was just a jelly spread on top of the cake with some seasonings, it was delicious, I ordered five servings for one person, and I felt very happy watching the plate slowly fill up.

Before going to Tibet, I read the guide and some netizens mentioned that you must try the Tsom Jelly when you go to Lhasa. I had an impression in my mind. I thought it was always on the bustling Barkhor Street. After going to Lhasa, I thought of Tsom Jelly on Barkhor Street, but I couldn't see it on Barkhor Street. After searching, I found out that it was not on Barkhor Street. You have to turn out from the alley of Barkhor South Street and go to the small street across the road. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from Barkhor Street. It is a small window, next to a small narrow room, a long table, and two rows of benches. It is eaten by locals, and there are no tourists at all! When we bought it and sat down to eat, a local Tibetan family of four across the street kept looking at us, and they must be wondering why tourists came here to eat. Here is the key point-Tsom Jelly, it is delicious! ! When I saw netizens talking about Jelly, I thought that Jelly is from Sichuan, not Tibet, and it must be opened by Sichuan people in Lhasa. But when I went to eat, I took a special look and saw that the people who made Jelly and collected money in the store were all Tibetans. Besides, the jelly is not exactly the same as the one in Sichuan. It is not in strips, nor is it so smooth. It is like the homemade one, in pieces. The most important thing is that it tastes good! Very fragrant! Not very spicy. The store only sells a few things, jelly, white wide noodles, cold noodles, fried potatoes, butter tea, and milk tea. Jelly, white wide noodles, and fried potatoes are all 5 yuan per serving. I wanted to eat it again before leaving, but unfortunately I didn't have time. It's the same sentence. If you go to Lhasa and have time, you must try the Como jelly. It's really delicious! !

The food is really good, but it takes too long to wait for the food. I waited for more than an hour that day. But I am willing to wait that long if I can eat delicious food. The yogurt popsicle is worth recommending!

When talking about street food in Lhasa, we must mention the small shop "Cuomu Liangfen". It is located on Ecological Park Road, south of Jokhang Temple, opposite the People's Stadium. The shop sells the most common foods for locals, such as liangfen, cold noodles and fried potatoes. Because they are made and sold on the spot, the taste remains crispy. The shop is very small and the seating space is very narrow. Many customers take the food away.
