#A good place to escape the summer heat Origin of the place name Huimin Town is named after the homophonic transcription of the Dai place name "Huiming". In Dai, "Hui" means "Qing" and "Ming" means "Bear", which means a place with many bears. Huimin Town has a subtropical mountain monsoon humid climate. It is characterized by a mild climate, with no distinct four seasons, and only rainy and dry seasons. The average temperature over the years is 20.5℃, the average temperature in January is 15.0℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is 2.8℃ (January 4, 2011); the average temperature in July is 23.0℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 36.5℃ (May 7, 2011). The lowest monthly average temperature is 7.8℃ (February 2011), and the highest monthly average temperature is 32.8℃ (April 2010). The annual average temperature is 19.7℃.
