Staying at a hotel in Southern Anhui along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, I stumbled across this Nanshan Min Cuisine restaurant just down the street. I was so surprised by the food! ✨ It's a must-try! The fish head soup 🐟 is incredibly delicious, with a rich, creamy, and fragrant milky broth that warms your heart. The stir-fried yellow beef 🌶️ is cooked to perfection, tender and spicy, and paired with rice, it's so delicious you'll lick the plate! The Huizhou-style hairy tofu 🫘 is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the spicy sauce is so intoxicating that even those who haven't dared to try it are hooked! The spicy hairy crab pot 🦀 is full of rich, golden crab meat, and the spicy flavor is incredibly appetizing. The clams and bullfrog 🐸 are incredibly fresh, with no sand in the clams and the bullfrog chewy. The broth is perfect with rice. The glutinous rice and bamboo shoots 🥬 are crispy, tender, and refreshing, with a natural sweetness that's perfect for slicing with greasiness. Finally, the farm-style rice crust 🍘 is a must-try, golden, crispy, and incredibly fragrant! Authentic Anhui flavors paired with home-cooked dishes.
