Tibetan Tusi Manor is the Tusi Manor in Shangri-La. It is said to be the residence of Master Doji in the TV series "Shangri-La". The manor is backed by snow-capped mountains and faces the county town, which is quiet in the bustling city. The manor is mainly composed of the Tibetan main building, Tibetan cultural exhibition room, scripture hall and Tibetan guest rooms. The Tusi Manor covers an area of ​​about 5,000 square meters. The house design with a hip roof is spacious and grand. In front of the gate, there is a horse used by the Tusi master. Visitors can ride horses around the manor and learn to patrol the territory like the Tusi, or leave a heroic posture on horseback. After the exams, our first stop was... Shangri-La [Smart]. Before coming, I knew Shangri-La was a high-altitude area. I had been there once before and felt I could handle it. But my younger sister, unable to resist the allure of travel, insisted on coming along! After arriving at the B&B, they both felt exhausted after walking up a few stairs... I didn't realize it at the time. Then we went to visit Dukezong Ancient Town [GreatWall]. Tuishan Park boasts the world's largest prayer wheel. The sisters had to walk up the ten-meter-long staircase several times. I felt chest tightness, a clear symptom of altitude sickness! The best part was at night [Cry]. That night, my older sister vomited, and my younger sister also had a high fever. She was groaning and couldn't sleep well. It wasn't until she took antipyretics that her fever gradually subsided! Most of the guesthouses here have heated kangs and oxygen bars... After a day of breathing in oxygen, the sisters revived... The next day, we took a taxi to the Napahaila Grassland [Scenic]... We had originally planned to just take a taxi to the grassland, but since it's so vast, I decided to have the driver take us around the lake. The rental fee was 200 yuan. The female driver was very enthusiastic and responsible. She took us to the largest horse farm in the area for a tour around the lake. We rode horses, and she waited at the entrance... Since it was off-season, there were few people riding horses. The price for our three horses was 260 yuan, half the price of usual... At 6:30 pm, the driver introduced us to the Zhaya Tusi Manor. He said the best Tusi banquet there is, and it's incredibly popular. Luckily, the driver helped us reserve a seat! The price is about the same as the average price, so make sure to book in advance... Afterward, the driver picked us up and took us back to our B&B... Day 3, Pudacuo National Forest Park 🏞️... We left our driver's phone number and called him the next day after we woke up naturally. He'd take us to Pudacuo... 150 yuan round trip included. The altitude here is even higher... around 3,400 meters... Many college students in their 29s carry oxygen bottles, so we did too. The sisters seemed to have adapted and were able to handle the hike as long as we didn't rush. There's a shuttle bus service to the scenic area, so private cars can't get in! In winter, the boat tours 🛶 here aren't available, which means more walking. We just checked in and left! We didn't see many animals, just a little squirrel 🐿 and lots of Tibetan pheasants 🐓... On the fourth day, we didn't get to see the snow❄️... On the fifth day, we took the high-speed train to Lijiang. We had planned to bring unused oxygen, but when we got to security, we were told that oxygen cylinders weren't allowed on the high-speed train, so we had to throw them away... Arriving in Lijiang, we were blown away by the colorful flowers surrounding the Old Town. We loved it so much. Coming down from the high altitude, our blood pressure was noticeably lower, and we felt much more relaxed... Since many places weren't officially closed for the holiday, there were fewer people, and it was incredibly comfortable [love]... On the sixth day, having not yet booked tickets to the snow-capped mountains, we went for a ride on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The B&B owner recommended a one-day tour with a small car that seated about ten people (around twelve). The cost was around 300 yuan, including lunch, and it was pretty good, much better than I expected! On day seven, we finally made it to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 🏔️… We set off at 6:00 AM. The driver said we had to be up by 8:00 AM, so we could see the Golden Mountain in the sun. There were only 10,000 tickets available per day, so even in the off-season, they were sold out. We were around 400 per person. My sister wasn't tall enough, so we got a cheaper price!
