Two-Day, One-Night Super Highlights Itinerary | Hiking to the Secrets of Jiangnan ||| After get off work on Friday, I arrived in Songyang four hours later and hiked through Yangjiatang Village and Songzhuang Village, known as Jiangnan's last hidden gems. Sharing this unique two-day, one-night super highlight itinerary: 1️⃣ Stay overnight in Songzhuang Village (it's recommended to eat something when passing through Songyang County to avoid running out of places to eat in the village if you arrive too late). 2️⃣ Sleep in naturally the next day, then take photos and enjoy coffee at the arch bridge in Songzhuang Village. 3️⃣ At noon, enjoy "Grandma's Handmade Noodles" in Songzhuang Village. 4️⃣ Start the hike to Yangjiatang Village at noon. The route is uploaded in two steps. It takes four hours and covers approximately 7 kilometers, with a 400-meter ascent. The route includes both paved roads and forest paths. There are chestnuts aplenty to pick up! Stop by Houwan Village and Youtian Village for supplies along the way. The view from the top is amazing! 5️⃣ Arrive at Yangjiatang Village at 4 PM and savor the breathtaking scenery of Jiangnan under the setting sun. 6️⃣ Return after dinner (if driving, charter or share a car to Songzhuang Village to pick up your vehicle). 🚗 How to Get There: 1. High-speed Rail: Arrive at Lishui Station, then take a 1.5-hour taxi. 2. Driving: Navigate directly to Yangjiatang Village or Songzhuang Village in Songyang. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours from Hangzhou, with good highway conditions. 🏠 Accommodation Options: • A variety of B&Bs are harmoniously scattered throughout the village, offering a wide variety of budgets. The limited number of rooms is exceptionally high quality, offering a truly immersive experience. Open the window to the layers of ancient houses, wake up to the sound of birdsong, and experience the purest form of rural life. 📸 Recommended Photo Spots and Time of Day: • Yangjiatang Village: ◦ The Couple Tree at the Village Entrance: Two 300-year-old camphor trees intertwined in the shape of a heart are the village's iconic landmark. Golden Potala Palace: The midday sun sets, the layers of yellow mud walls shimmer amber. Drones take off, and the photo yield is incredibly high. • Songzhuang Village: ◦ Stone Arch Bridge: A National Geographic filming location. Standing on the bridge, with the stream and ancient village as your backdrop, it's a beautiful photo opportunity no matter how you take it, especially in the soft early morning light. ◦ Streamside Cafe: Order a cup of coffee, sit by the stream, and take in the distant green mountains and ancient village as your backdrop—a relaxing and photogenic experience.
