The seafood is very good. The charcoal grilled pork neck is delicious and super tender. The sashimi is also very good. It is fish from the local waters of Taiwan. It tastes very tender and not hard.

Everything from the decoration, utensils, ingredients to the service is exquisite. Some dishes do retain the old Taiwanese flavor, while others are creative cuisine. It is worthy of the rating of a Michelin one-star restaurant, but the prices are slightly high.

Shanhailou finally opened for the first time. It was a very good experience, the environment and service were very good, the Shanhai deluxe platter, roast chicken, clam omelette, and their beef noodles were all very good, the price was a little expensive.

Shanhailou is a Taiwanese restaurant on Ren'ai Road in Zhongzheng District, Taipei. All dishes are made with organic ingredients and the overall taste is light. The tofu pudding is very sweet, the fish is very clean and has no bones, and the liver and chicken rolls in the Shanhai platter are also delicious.
