Most of the food in the county is Sichuan cuisine. The home-cooked dishes include fried bacon with hot peppers, boiled pork slices, steamed beef with rice flour, sweet and sour spare ribs, and mapo tofu. The taste is quite satisfactory, although the mapo tofu is obviously not authentic and more like braised. We mistook the potato glutinous rice cake for glutinous rice cake, but it is actually fried potato chips, which are quite good when soaked.

县城大多是川菜为主，家常菜尖椒炒腊肉、水煮肉片、粉蒸牛肉、糖醋排骨、麻婆豆腐，口味中规中矩，虽然麻婆豆腐一看就不是正宗做法，更像是红烧，洋芋糍粑我们误会是糍粑，其实是炸土豆条，泡呼呼的还不错。

We thought: since we are in Wenchuan, we should try the food here! We arrived at the restaurant just after 12 noon, and there were not many people at this time. There was a long row of tables and chairs at the door of the store, and we knew at a glance that a large group was coming to eat. So we quickly picked a seat and sat down and ordered the dishes. We ordered a portion of local specialties such as tofu, twice-cooked pork, and yak beef, and the boss also asked us to order a carrot soup. The dishes were served quickly, but to be honest: the dishes here really tasted average! The tofu tasted a little sour in the mouth. At first, I thought it was because of the tomatoes added to it, but when I tasted it carefully, it was not the sourness of tomatoes, but a bit of swill! Compared with other beef, yak beef has no characteristics! Not only is the carrot soup not special, but the carrot is also a little old! Only the twice-cooked pork is acceptable, and I ate a big bowl of rice with it. Alas, I can only say that we came to the wrong place for group meals!
