I'm crying! The best restaurant in Nalati!
This was my favorite restaurant during my trip to Xinjiang. The Shepherd Grandpa's special cultural dishes were amazing. It's well known that Xinjiang people eat late, and their dishes are often heavy in oil and salt. For mainland Chinese, eating too late can be very upsetting, especially at small, dirty stalls where the oil and ingredients are not clean. This restaurant, however, is relatively light and refreshing, with a wide and varied menu, making it more accessible to the general public.
The waitress was friendly and attentive, proactively explaining how to prepare Loulan's First Palm and how to top the handmade ice cream with various jams. You can even get a free lamb pudding by checking Dianping.com! I highly recommend the spicy chicken; it's a generous portion, not pre-prepared, and incredibly crispy. Paired with rice, it's a truly satisfying evening meal.
The only downside is that there can be a wait at peak times. Check Dianping.com frequently, and if you plan to go, call ahead to reserve a private room. #NalatiFood #NalatiScenicFood #DukuGuide #XinjiangTravel #NalatiGuide #NalatiGrassland #NalatiTravelGuide #YiliFood #Nalati #Yili

I highly recommend Nalati Shepherd Grandpa's Xinjiang cuisine. A must-try is their signature Loulan First Palm. It's an ox paw. Everyone was amazed when it arrived—it was so big, almost as big as my male companion's forearm. The beef tendon is flavorful and chewy, and the sour and spicy flavor is irresistible! Add a side of belt noodles to top it off. Oh my god, I'm such a gourmet! 😋 (Tip: ox paws can have a strong base flavor, so those who can't handle strong flavors should be careful.) I absolutely love it. I also recommend their spicy chicken! 🐔—the chicken is crispy and delicious without being dry! 😋 The naan-roasted lamb chops are crispy and tender, and the meat is juicy. Then order a naan-roasted naan—the naan is perfectly charred and delicious! 😋 The fresh-cut red willow lamb skewers are a nice mix of fat and lean, with a slightly crispy skin and a tender and juicy interior. I highly recommend the handmade raspberry yogurt; it's smooth and has no off-flavor. Paired with raspberry jam, it's a little sweet and really delicious! #NalatiFood#NalatiScenicFood#DukuGuide#XinjiangTravel#NalatiGuide#NalatiGrassland#NalatiTravelGuide#YiliFood#Nalati#Yili
You really can't get this kind of food in mainland China. It's mostly locals, and the taste and quality are both top-notch. The dishes themselves are especially delicious! If you're in Nalati, I highly recommend giving it a try. Recommended dishes: ✨Loulan First Palm The size and color are so noticeable, and every bite is so satisfying. The beef tendon is soft, chewy, and packed with collagen. I absolutely love it! ✨Grandpa's Rice Sausage and Noodle Lung The rice sausage, soaked up so much broth, is absolutely delicious. Everyone rushed to grab it and it was gone in no time! 😂 ✨They also have a wide selection of drinks. Apricot peel sparkling drink, pomegranate sparkling drink, fruit tea, and fig light milk tea are all excellent, refreshing and refreshing with Xinjiang cuisine! ✨The naan bowl ice cream, with some shaved yogurt ice cream underneath and a sphere of ice cream inside, is so delicious, and the decoration is so beautiful! Everyone took out their phones to take pictures as soon as they arrived. [Wow][Wow] The restaurant even has a backyard and tatami mats, creating a unique atmosphere for taking photos everywhere! #NalatiFood #NalatiScenicScenicFood #DukuGuide #XinjiangTravel #NalatiGuide #NalatiGrassland #NalatiTravelGuide #YiliFood #Nalati #Yili

Thanks to the Xinjiang locals for showing me the way!! I've been there three times already!! It's truly one of those Xinjiang dishes I'll never forget. 🥹Super authentic, always packed, generous portions, and the service and ambiance are incredibly exotic~ Every table must order Loulan's First Palm (Ox Paw). The sticky, tender, sour, spicy, and fragrant beef tendon is so delicious, piping hot from the wok, it's so fragrant! When I eat with friends, I have to fight over it! (No exaggeration!) Their mutton soup pot meat 🍗 is slow-cooked over low heat, giving the mutton a rich and delicious flavor that warms both the heart and the stomach! I even took a few Napoleons away when I left. The ingredients were so generous, and each bite was incredibly satisfying! Who truly understands the value of a single bite... My friends and I ordered a full table and didn't disappoint. We're going back countless times! I highly recommend this place as your first stop when visiting Nalati! 🐛 #NalatiFood#NalatiScenic AreaFood#DukuGuide#XinjiangTravel#NalatiGuide#NalatiGrassland#NalatiTravelGuide#YiliFood#Nalati#Yili
