When it comes to Zhengding delicacies, everyone can name a few, such as Majia Chicken, Haojia Spare Ribs, Zhengding Eight Bowls, Wuqi Road Banmian, and Wangjia Shaomai. I have been to all of these restaurants. Today, I will mainly talk about Wangjia Shaomai. Poor environment: In Zhengding City, many Shaomai restaurants are called Wangjia Shaomai. Under the guidance of "foodie seniors", I first came to this authentic Wangjia Shaomai five or six years ago. At that time, the environment was dirty and messy, which really disappointed me. Since then, I have been there four or five times, all of which were accompanied by friends who had never been there and were attracted by its reputation. Before going, I would also give them a general description, but it was still very disappointing after going. The environment is the same every time. There is always a mixture of water and mud on the white floor tiles. Because there are many people waiting, the tables have basically not been cleaned. There are 3 small halls on the first floor. The hall inside has no windows, which is more depressing. There are stains on the wall that affect appetite. There are several small private rooms on the second floor, and the environment is slightly better than the first floor. Taste: It's Wuqi Road Banmian, named after Majia Chicken, but I never found it delicious. Shaomai is definitely a must, but it's super oily. I always feel greasy after eating it. Most people can't stand it. Poor service: Every time I come to his restaurant, I have never enjoyed the word "service". Most of the waiters are older aunts. Because they speak with accents, they often can't hear clearly and have a very rude attitude. If you ask a second time, they will just turn their faces and ignore you when they are in a bad mood [laughing and crying] I can't afford to offend them, and I dare not say anything. I went there again today, arrived at 8:35, saw that the business hours start at 9 o'clock, but saw that there were many people dining inside, so I thought it opened earlier. When I pushed the door in, an auntie shouted "It's not open yet!" I went out, strolled around, and went again at 9 o'clock. Almost everyone was sitting at the door chatting, and the lights were off. I asked the waiter "Is it open now?" No one replied [laughing and crying] It's been a long time since I've been chatting... So I was angry and gave up, I won't go 🙂 Suggestion: If you want to gain a good reputation, it is not reliable to just spend money on advertising and promotion. At most, you can fool customers to go once, and the reviews that are passed on are also true. Although the store has been renovated, what should be improved more is the quality of the dishes and the service level.
