Went to Yangming Square to watch a movie, deliberately arrived a little early, leaving some time for breakfast. Xiguan Food, on a street behind Yangming Square, the shop is quite spacious, but it is a bit greasy, which is common in many Chinese restaurants. There are many kinds of food, I ordered boat porridge (or was it Jidi porridge? I forgot) and noodles, which tasted good and were not cheap.

Xiguan cuisine is the inheritance of Cantonese cuisine. However, the decoration and dining environment of Yangming Plaza store are average; the signature dish, boat porridge, tastes average.

The rice noodle rolls tasted good and were served quickly. The environment was average. But the fried dough sticks were cold and a little oily. Overall it was good.

There's a wide selection, including rice noodle rolls, which are reasonably priced. The rice noodle rolls are soft and chewy, the scallion oil noodles are made with bamboo shoots, and the beef three soup (hahaha) is a good idea. 3️⃣ Yixin Stone-Ground Rice Noodle Rolls 📍No. 1, 1/F, Shangdu Department Store, 1168 Fenghuang South Road 💰11 ✅ Rice noodle rolls ❤️Guangdong! Any roadside rice noodle roll is delicious. The chefs are skilled, and you can choose your own toppings! It's ready in just minutes~ Their chili sauce is pretty good. 4️⃣ Jin Ji Traditional Stone-Ground Rice Noodle Rolls (Xiangzhou Commercial City Branch) 📍Shop 43, 1st Floor, Xiangzhou Commercial City, No. 1004 Fenghuang North Road 💰14 ✅ Rice Noodle Rolls, Pork Offal Congee ❤️ Really great value! I was a little surprised by the size of the congee! They serve both breakfast and supper, mainly rice noodle rolls and congee! The pork offal congee is generous, tender, and cleanly prepared. The rice noodle rolls are soft and chewy, I had two meals of them, haha. 5️⃣ Ling Ji Bowl Cake, Almond Tea, Handmade Desserts 📍Shop A32-2, Ningxi Market, No. 280 Ningxi Road 💰16 ✅ Coconut Milk Jelly, Bowl Cake, Almond Tea ❤️ The almond tea is so rich I drank it two days in a row! I've never had bowl cake before—it's chewy and not too sweet, and there are so many flavors! It looks clean, and the pistachio flavor is delicious! 6️⃣ Fengji Grilled Oysters (Xiangzhou Commercial City Branch) 📍Shop 26, 1st Floor, Xiangzhou Commercial City, 1004 Fenghuang North Road, Xiangzhou 💰66 ✅Garlic Grilled Oysters, Garlic Grilled Abalone, Grilled Prawns ❤️This late-night food stall has oysters on almost every table, and they're really large and fresh. It seems the owner owns their own oyster farm. I prefer the tender abalone and shrimp! There aren't many varieties, but the value is great and the food is delicious. 7️⃣ Zhandong Beef Offal Shop (Xiangzhou Commercial City Branch) 📍Shop 2, 1st Floor, Xiangzhou Commercial City, 1004 Fenghuang North Road 💰43 ✅Braised Beef Offal ❤️This is next to the oyster shop, and it seems like every table gets the oyster and beef offal rice noodle roll set—essentially a hot pot, with side dishes. The beef offal stew is incredibly flavorful, and a must-try is the chewy three-fresh rice noodle dish to finish it off! 8️⃣ PAUL KEI Macau Souvenirs and Specialties Freshly Baked Shop (Haiyun City Branch 1) 📍No. 29 Yuwan Road, No. A1015, 1st Floor, Huafa New World, Area A, Haiyun City 💰37 ✅Almond cookies, flower cookies, pine nut biscuits ❤️I wanted to buy some Paul Kei before the New Year, but they're sold out. 🙈Almond cookies, pine nut biscuits, almond biscuits, and cookies are all delicious! The packaging is beautiful too. I find the freshly baked egg tarts and pineapple cakes a bit sweet, so a third is just right. 9️⃣ Gu Chun Tang Herbal Tea Desserts (Fenghuang Branch) 📍No. 1151, Fenghuang South Road, Shishan Subdistrict (diagonally across from the department store) 💰20 ✅Mango pudding, tortoise jelly, double skin milk ❤️Gu Chun Tang is everywhere here, so you can find any one.
