Goose Spring is located in Jingxi City and has been one of the eight scenic spots in Jingxi since ancient times. Upon entering the gate of the scenic spot, along the riverside, visitors can see a towering mountain on one side and a rolling farmland on the other. A fifteen-hole arch bridge built in the Qing era can be seen moving ahead. From time to time, bamboo rafts pass beneath the bridge, which is one of the scenic spots of Goose Spring. The village connected to the bridge is called Nian'antun, where the original pastoral atmosphere is rich. The Yangyu Temple also stands next to Goose Spring. Three huge stone tablets, including the Goose Spring Pavilion Monument from the Qing Dynasty, stand in front of the temple. The tablets record the origin of the Goose Spring and poems about it.China · Jingxi

Gulongshan Grand Canyon

4.5/5

Gulongshan Grand Canyon is located in Jingxi County, Baise City, Guangxi Province, close to Tongling Grand Canyon. Many visitors choose to explore both attractions together. The canyon is famous for its rafting experience, featuring unique scenery along the way, including dense primeval forests, spectacular canyon views, and several large-scale karst caves with extraordinary geological formations. It's definitely worth a visit. The best time to visit this attraction is summer, when the canyon offers cool, humid and pleasant weather. Rafting is the most popular activity here. The starting point for rafting is located next to Gulao Canyon, about a 20-minute walk from the attraction entrance. You can also take the Nokri Slide for a direct and thrilling ride. Once you arrive at the rafting starting point, your official adventure begins. The classic rafting experience at Gulongshan Grand Canyon lasts 1 hour, while the free rafting option takes 1.5–2 hours. After the activity, free shuttle service is provided to return visitors to the attraction entrance. Each raft accommodates 2 travelers with a boatman who serves as a guide, offering insights about the karst caves and canyon scenery along the way. Unlike typical thrilling whitewater rafting, this is more of a peaceful boating experience with minimal splashing risk—only shoes and pant cuffs might get wet. Visitors who wish to stay dry can wrap their shoes and pant cuffs with plastic bags. During summer, bringing water scoops or water guns for playful water fights in shallow areas adds to the fun. The rafting journey takes you through three canyons and three karst caves, with this alternating experience of light and darkness playfully dubbed the "three days and three nights" rafting by visitors. Both the canyons and caves offer breathtaking scenery. The canyons feature towering ancient trees, creating classic tropical rainforest landscapes, while the spectacular waterfalls with drops exceeding 100m make perfect photo spots. The massive caves boast unique stalactite formations that create a magical atmosphere, where you can unleash your imagination while listening to the boatman's stories and marvel at nature's extraordinary craftsmanship. The attraction offers rafting year-round, though the winter months from November to March bring cooler temperatures that reduce the fun of water fights and splashing activities. During this period, the attraction also opens hiking trails featuring floating walkways above the water. Visitors can choose between two route options: the full route or the half route. The half route covers only the New Bridge Canyon and Water Curtain Cave sections—one canyon and one limestone cave—which happen to be the most scenic areas of the attraction. Guests may select their preferred experience based on personal interests.China · Jingxi

Tianhetan is definitely worth a visit, especially the boat ride through the water-eroded cave – the experience is fantastic. For those who don't have enough time in Guiyang but still want to see some natural scenery, this is a great choice. It's like a miniature version of Guizhou, combining waterfalls and karst caves. While it may not be the most spectacular or breathtaking, the experience is just as good.

The scenic area is picturesque, tranquil, and serene, which I personally enjoyed. Its charm lies not in its entertainment value, but in its breathtaking scenery. The core area is relatively small, but visually, the distant, layered mountains blend seamlessly into the landscape.

I think this is pretty good. We went to Sandieling first, which is very close to here. Then we came in around noon. There are mountains, water, waterfalls, caves, and rafting. We chose the free rafting option, which is best enjoyed on your own, especially if you're not elderly. You can take your time taking photos and exploring.

It's worth a visit, though quite tiring; we probably took the easiest route. From the visitor center, take the sightseeing bus to the scenic area entrance, then walk one kilometer along the river to Longmen Waterfall. Take the elevator up, then walk 800 meters to Tianchi for the boat tour. Take the boat into the Dragon Palace twice, but don't get off at the second entrance (from there you have to walk an hour and a half to Xuantang). Return by boat to Tianchi, then walk to the scenic area exit, then another kilometer through Buyi Town to the sightseeing bus station. Take the sightseeing bus back to the visitor center. The whole trip takes about three and a half hours.

It's very beautiful and takes great photos. It's so picturesque that you'll want to stay forever. We spent a long time there. The only downside was that it was very crowded when we went, with long queues to go up the mountain. Also, be careful with your car; the slope is very steep, and it's definitely difficult for most cars to climb. I heard that cars aren't allowed to go any further in now, but I have to say the scenery is absolutely gorgeous.

During summer vacation, I went there with my friends and their kids. We arrived early, so we found a terrace for dinner with a view of the water. There was a performance on the water in the evening. The natural scenery of mountains and water combined with the man-made architecture created a great atmosphere 👍 The only downside was that eating outdoors meant that mosquitoes were unavoidable at night, especially in a place like Guizhou with a relatively good ecological environment.

We went as a family during the National Day holiday, and it was a lot of fun. The light show and the iron flower display at night were beautiful. I accompanied my parents, who are over 70 years old. There were some steps in the scenic area, which were a bit tiring for their legs, but we could manage by walking slowly. The whole family was very happy.

October isn't the best season; the lotus flowers are in bloom and not yet fully ripe. The entire route mainly involves sitting on a boat, and the boat services are infrequent with long wait times. The included shuttle bus service is also too limited; if you want to see more points, you'll have to walk.
