Chur-Brambruesch
Chur-Brambruesch is an alpine resort just 15 minutes' drive from the city center. The cable car runs from the Chur Stadt station directly to the top of the mountain at an altitude of over 2,000 meters. It operates all year round (April to November in summer and December to March in winter), and the one-way journey takes about 20 minutes. In summer, it is famous for hiking and mountain biking, with 50 kilometers of well-marked trails covering Alpine meadows, pine forests and glacier landscapes, and many family-friendly routes, such as the 1.5-hour Brambrüesch Lake Loop. Bernina Express

The journey from Chur (Switzerland) to Tirano (Italy) and back to Chur will take almost the whole day. I’d consider this as one of the most beautiful scenic trains in the world. Bernina Express will not disappoint you. Lifetime experience indeed.
