The Alps stretch across south-central Europe, spanning France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, and Slovenia, and are the main mountain system in south-central Europe. Continuous snow-capped peaks, deep glacial valleys, and scattered alpine lakes together form the typical natural landscape here. The mountains are home to numerous peaks and observation decks, each with its own unique characteristics.Mont Blanchas an elevation of approx. 4,800 m and is the main peak of the Alps; the Matterhorn is famous for its pyramid shape; the cogwheel railway terminus in the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe region is at an altitude of over 3,400 m, allowing passengers to ascend to a high point surrounded by glaciers and snow-capped peaks. The hiking route aroundMont Blanc, which runs through France, Switzerland, and Italy, is approx. 170 km long and is a classic long-distance hiking trail. In winter, the Alps feature numerous ski resorts such as Chamonix, Zermatt, and Sankt Anton am Arlberg, with a long ski season and excellent snow quality. Summer is the main season for alpine hiking and mountain biking, with trails passing through meadows blooming with wildflowers and quaint mountain villages. A dense network of alpine cable cars and scenic railways connects multiple high-altitude viewpoints, allowing visitors to easily reach observation decks at altitudes of several thousand meters to overlook the panoramic views of rolling peaks and glaciers.Furna · 16.4 km from Davos

Davos Klosters Railway

4.3
Davos Klosters Bergbahnen is a large-scale mountain transportation hub in eastern Switzerland. The cable car system connects the five major ski areas in Davos and the Klosters resort, forming a winter sports system with a total length of about 325 kilometers. Dozens of modern cable cars cover the entire slope from beginner to professional ski slopes. The classic ski route from the red trail in the Parsenn area to Klosters is particularly recommended. Non-skiers can take a panoramic train to enjoy the snow scenery, or go snowshoeing along the Schatzalp Edelweiss Trail, with Alpine plant interpretation signs along the way. In summer, the system is transformed into a hiking hub. The Madrisa area is open for guided tours of the Alpine garden in summer, and the Jakobshorn mountaintop terrace provides a cloud-based breakfast experience that requires reservations. All cable car stations are equipped with electronic screens to update weather and snow conditions in real time, and the 3D navigation function of the official APP can facilitate itinerary planning.Davos · 1.2 km from downtown

Among the many beautiful lakes in Switzerland, Lake Davos has a unique charm. Because the lake is not very large, the water is not very deep, the lake is surrounded by green mountains and lush greenery, and it is calm most of the time, so the reflections on the lakeside are like oil paintings, magnificent~ Starting from the InterContinental Davos Hotel, along the path beside the railway line, passing through several houses and a railway culvert, you can see Lake Davos in about 10 minutes. It really feels like entering a fairyland~
