The Baroque Library of the University of Coimbra can be said to be the best place in the entire University of Coimbra. It is also listed among the top ten most beautiful libraries in the world. It is magnificent and many of the building materials are wooden. There are three main halls, each with murals on the four continents, disciplines and related qualities. It is also the prototype of the library in the movie Harry Potter.
