Chapel of Bones (Évora)
Chapel of Bones (Évora) is located in the center of Evora in the Alentejo region of Portugal and is a religious architectural space with unique visual features within the Church of St. Francis. Built in the 17th century, it is small in scale and consists of three interconnected spaces, with walls and stone pillars covered in a large number of human skulls and bones arranged in regular decorative patterns.
