Torres del Paine National Park was established in 1959 and was designated as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 1978. It is one of the 11 protected areas in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region. Covering 51% of the region's total area, the park is a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers.
Departing from Punta Arenas, join the 1-day tour to Torres del Paine National Park and experience breathtaking scenery. This itinerary is available daily year-round, including guided tours and short hikes that take you to the most iconic attractions in the park.
Your adventure begins with a visit to the Mylodon Cave Natural Monument, home to the remains of the mythical mylodon. Then head to Grey Beach to admire the icebergs scattered along the shore.
Next, enjoy panoramic views at Pehoe viewpoint and take a stroll in the Salto Grande waterfall area to witness the spectacular waterfall firsthand. The itinerary also includes a visit to Nordenskjöld Lake to admire the magnificent scenery of the Paine Mountain Range. Finally, enjoy the unique views of the Torres Mountains at Amarga Lake, perfectly concluding your journey. After the itinerary ends, you will be returned to the departure point in Punta Arenas.
