Reviews: Debre Libanos, Monkeys, Cave & Oromo Village Tour
Guest User2026-10-13
This day tour was an unforgettable highlight of visiting Ethiopia, made truly exceptional by the incredible guides, Yonas and Emmanuel. From taking in the crisp mountain air and panoramic viewpoints of Entoto Forest to walking through vibrant local villages, every stop felt rich and deeply immersive. Emmanuel and Yonas genuinely went above and beyond from start to finish, ensuring I experienced all the great sights while sharing fascinating cultural insights and attentive care throughout the day. Watching artisans at work in the pottery making factory was a wonderful highlight, and stopping to savor authentic local food tastings paired with a traditional coffee ceremony brought everything together beautifully. Their hospitality, deep knowledge, and infectious enthusiasm made this an extraordinary experience that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Abraham is an excellent tour guide, he has fabulous knowledge of the Ethiopian history which he imparts with great passion. The tour itself is a lovely drive through the countryside to Debre Libanos going through interesting small villages. The monastery itself is ornate and interesting, the small museum nearby I thoroughly enjoyed. The bleeding heart baboons were very special and the visit to the blue Nile gorge was the highlight for me, I just loved this serene area with spectacular views. Thanks Abraham I could not recommend you highly enough.
