It was a truly fantastic experience and the perfect start to our vacation. Our guide, Saimir, did a superb job leading us through the city. He imparts in-depth knowledge about Berat's history, Albanian culture, and the country itself – all presented with incredible humor and wit. You immediately connect with him, and it felt more like a pleasant chat with a friend. Time really flew by. Even the somewhat strenuous climb to the castle (in the midday sun) wasn't a problem at all, because the tour was so engaging and entertaining. We learned and took away so many interesting things. We highly recommend it! Many thanks to Saimir for this wonderful experience.
